About Genta Guitar

All Genta instruments are only constructed from solid, premium grade timbers known for their tonality, strength and beauty. Soundboards are constructed from Sitka Spruce, European Spruce, Engelmann Spruce, Western Red Cedar, Mahogany, Mango wood, Javanese Acacia and some more tone woods that only grow in Indonesia. Materials for backs and sides are mostly Mahogany, Indian Rosewood, and Makassar Ebony. Most guitar necks are constructed from Mahogany and have double action adjustable trussrods.

Over the many years Genta Guitar has refined a very special skill of guitar making. This is why Genta's customers return for their next guitar, again and again.

Established in 1959 by Muhammad Husni Nasution and Ki Anong Naeni, Genta Guitars has evolved into one of the nationwide leading manufacturers of premium acoustic, ukulele, acoustic/electric and electric guitars. Headquartered in Bandung, Indonesia, Genta Guitars employs nearly 100 people and currently produces around thousands of guitars per month in its factory complex.
